Decryptd reads what tech actually ships, and what the announcements leave out. The publication covers eight areas where we have time to dig past the press release: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, SaaS platforms, AI tools, developer tools, no-code automation, search and growth, and tech career.
How we work
Every piece is written for a mixed audience: tech professionals who want a second opinion before they commit, and curious generalists who want the part that matters explained without filler. Two pieces are published each weekday morning.
AI in the editorial process
Decryptd is an automated publication, and it is worth being exact about what that means. Topics are selected from current reporting, researched against named sources, drafted by Claude (Anthropic), illustrated by an image model, and checked automatically before release. The checks cover the things a machine can actually judge: that the sources resolved, that the piece is the length it claims, that the headline meets our own standards, and that the illustration contains no garbled text.
A piece that fails any of those checks is held and read by a person before it goes anywhere. A piece that passes them is published without a human reading it first. We would rather say that plainly than imply an editorial desk that does not exist. Everything published is read afterwards, and corrections are made on the article itself with the revision date updated.
If something here is wrong, tell us and it gets fixed. That is the part of the process that still depends entirely on people.
